The establishment of PIPL is an exemplary story of rags to riches.

The saga of an ordinary man who did things extraordinarily well, backed only by the conviction of his character and his moral virtues of honesty, simplicity and quiet determination.

Naturally, he overcame all the obstacles in his path and surged ahead relentlessly, till his company had scaled the greatest heights. The foundation stone of PATEL INFRASTRUCTURE PRIVATE LIMITED (formerly known as M/s. Patel Construction Co.) was laid in 1972 by the Late Shri Vitthalbhai G. Patel. In just three decades, unprecedented success was achieved with profit graphs never once showing a decline.

The company started its activities in the year as early as 1972 in the financial capital of India i.e. Mumbai. During the period from 1972 to 1980 the company constructed many multi-storeyed buildings for Maharashtra Housing Developing Authority. During the same period it also constructed Elpar Paragon Textile Mill with Office building. It also constructed various private Housing Schemes.

Company shifted its activities from Maharashtra to the state of Gujarat in India and constructed Vrajmi Dam under Dadhichi Sarovar Yojna in Sasan Gir, District Junagadh, State of Gujarat, India.

Construction of Hotel Girnar, the Central Office Building in Junagadh, the Walmi Campus, Anand, are only a few of the outstanding examples of Shri Patel's vision and experience. The sad demise of the Company's great founder in 1993 did not stall progress; instead it kindled in his family members a desire to follow his footsteps by promoting further expansion and development of the company.

The Company undertook and successfully completed a variety of ambitious projects like Office Complexes, Residental Quarters and Educational Institutions, Bridges, Pipelines etc. At the turn of the millennium, PIPL ventured into Infrastructure projects like Roads, Airports, Hospitals, etc. All these activities have propelled the Company's turnover from 5 crores to an astronomical 242 crores in just Eight years.
